Acupuncture & Women's Health
Women’s Health is generally considered to include gynaecology, fertility, pregnancy and post-partum (obstetrics) and menopause. It’s an area that Judy is passionate about treating with acupuncture, nutrition and lifestyle advice. Following a considerable amount of post-graduate study in this specialist area, and eleven years of experience working with women on all sorts of aspects of their Obstetric and Gynaecological health, Judy has seen time and time again the benefits that acupuncture offers to women.
During 2020, Judy has also been studying for a teaching qualification in Mindfulness and Compassion in order to offer greater emotional support to clients. This will be rolled out in 2021, in some cases integrated with Acupuncture treatment, and in other cases as group teaching online.

The Women’s Natural Health Clinic, based in SW London, was set up by Dr Trevor Wing in 2003 to offer caring, holistic and personalised women’s healthcare. His expertise in integrating Western and evidence-based natural medicine, lead him to create an intensive, demanding post-graduate training program, This diploma focuses on training already qualified practitioners in his approach to female health, gynaecology, obstetrics and reproductive medicine. Practitioners who attend the course and pass the demanding final examination become Associates of the Women’s Natural Health Clinic. Judy is one of few practitioners outside London to have done so.
Being an Associate not only ensures a high level of knowledge, but also gives Judy access to ongoing peer support and continuous learning as maintaining Associate status requires regular further study with Dr Wing.
Judy is also an Affiliated Acupuncturist Member of the Zita West Network for Reproductive Health. The Zita West Fertility Clinic, based in London, is renowned for pioneering an holistic approach to fertility, supporting their clients not just medically but physically, nutritionally, emotionally and psychologically. This approach aligns closely with Judy's own ethos. Being an affiliated acupuncturist member involves supplementary training in reproductive health, over and above the extensive post-graduate training that Judy undertakes each year. As a member, she also has access to the Zita West clinical team and other members of the network for peer support. She is also able to offer exclusive discounts on some Zita West products and services.
Judy also belongs to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Women's Voices Involvement Panel.
I've been having treatment with Judy for a year now and she has changed my life. I initially went to improve my fertility but soon realised that acupuncture was wonderful for my general well being whether I were to fall pregnant or not. Emotionally and physically my sessions with Judy have benefited me beyond all expectations and have helped me to manage my stress levels at work and try to approach my life differently. I have no doubt that the time I have invested with Judy has enabled my body to improve and become ready to conceive - I am now happily 5 months pregnant and am convinced it is largely down to my acupuncture sessions. Thank you Judy.
